Between taking the images and putting them on the gallery, post processing occurs. This is the digital darkroom, the modern equivalent of the wet darkroom of days gone by. It’s not dark, its not wet and it doesn’t smell. While there is a certain nostalgia for the wet darkroom, if you have had any experience with traditional photography, you would probably agree this is not a bad thing.

The digital darkroom comprises a few elements, PC, software and storage.
